To know what we need to eat after exercise it is useful to know what happens when we exercise!
The process that takes place in our body – in any kind of exercise – is the breakdown of muscles and then their reconstruction. That is, as if we are building a house and demolishing it in various places or even the whole one in order to build it even stronger and more beautiful.
However, if there are no suitable “materials”, the result is not ideal and we do not enjoy all the benefits of exercise. Many times, even if one exercises without taking care of one’s diet to a certain extent, exercise can be harmful!
The basic “building blocks” or nutrients needed are proteins and trace elements (vitamins, minerals, minerals) or otherwise known electrolytes. However, as in any case, fatty acids are required.
